The Daily Upvote (“we”) publishes a daily broadsheet built from public Reddit activity. This policy explains what we collect, the cookies we use, and the third parties involved.
What we collect
- Email address — to sign you in (we send a 6-digit code; passwordless) and to associate your subscription.
- Subscription status — whether you have an active subscription, kept in sync with our payment processor. We do not store card numbers; payment details are handled entirely by Stripe.
Cookies
- Essential session cookie (
du_session) — an httpOnly, Secure cookie that keeps you signed in. It is required for the site to function and is not used for advertising. - Advertising cookies — for visitors on the free tier, our advertising partner (Google) may set cookies to serve and measure ads. Subscribers see no ads and our pages load no advertising scripts or cookies.
Advertising & Google AdSense
On the free tier we use Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can learn about and control personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info. For EEA/UK visitors, consent for personalized ads is collected via Google’s built-in consent message.
Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management (privacy).
- Google AdSense — advertising on the free tier (how Google uses data).
- Resend — delivery of sign-in code emails (privacy).

- Remove ads — subscribe; subscriber pages serve no ads and make no ad-network calls.
